We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill our Full-Time Overnight position as a DSP - Direct Support professional.
Working Overnight and every other weekend.
Driver's License required.

Summary
As a Direct Support Professional at Progress Industries, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. This position focuses on providing personalized support and assistance to promote independence and community integration.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in daily living activities.
- Assist clients in developing skills for independence and community engagement.
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized support plans.
- Facilitate social interactions and community involvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals through encouragement and guidance.
Qualifications
- Experience in special education or direct support roles preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with social work principles is a plus but not required.
- Ability to assist individuals with disabilities in various settings.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of American Sign Language is beneficial but not mandatory.
