You love words and the power they create when used wisely. You're passionate about grammar rules and spot typos on restaurant menus. You can simplify even the most complex topics so they reach a broad audience. If this sounds like you, apply to join the Progress Content Team as our newest Marketing Copywriter. As an integral member of the Corporate Communications team, you'll use your writing skills to craft a wide spectrum of content assets to market a broad portfolio of Progress software products.
Your writing experience empowers you to apply writing and marketing best practices, creating content that generates customer interest and action. In this role, you'll work on many content types, including emails, web pages, paid ads, infographics, case studies, sales collateral, whitepapers and more. You may further add value by ghostwriting articles, bylines and blogs for stakeholders across the company.
As our next Marketing Copywriter, you'll work to apply grammatical accuracy, message clarity and a consistent style to all marketing communications materials. Of course, you have experience communicating with both enterprise audiences and, ideally, the developer community. You thrive in fast-paced environments and globally distributed teams. And we look forward to your comprehensive understanding of how to create the right tone and voice to credibly highlight Progress' position as a leading global software provider with over 40 years of proven success.
In this role, you will :
Create accurate, engaging and consistent content for a variety of marketing campaigns designed to generate leads / salesProofread, copyedit and develop content for various product initiatives and marketing materials, applying impeccable attention to detailDevelop and / or edit targeted communications to ensure they engage and persuadeCollaborate with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders, such as Product Marketing, Product Development and Demand Generation teams to ensure message alignmentWrite blog posts, bylines and thought-leadership pieces tailored to the author's voiceWork with the corporate events team to write and produce event-specific materialsYour background :
