Join us as a Senior Cybersecurity Technical Product Marketing Manager in Bengaluru and help us do what we do best : propelling business forward. This is a flexible hybrid role, with in-office attendance expected for 2-3 days a week.As the Senior Cybersecurity Technical Product Marketing Manager , you will drive the positioning and outbound message for our cutting-edge IT Management solutions, focusing on DevSecOps, Network Detection and Response (NDR), and a Web Application Firewall (WAF) enabled load balancing products. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of the cybersecurity and compliance landscape with strong technical product expertise, marketing acumen, and a passion for delivering compelling narratives that resonate with security and IT Ops professionals.You will translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer-centric messaging in this role. You will work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and success in our product launches, campaigns, and customer engagements.In this role, you will : Coordinate security and compliance efforts across the Progress Infrastructure Management product portfolio to address all aspects of product marketing, including positioning, Demand Generation coordination, AR / PR coordination, etc.Create clear, concise, and compelling messaging that resonates with developers, security engineers, and IT leaders. Align messaging with the needs of different buyer personas in the security and DevOps space.Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to produce high-quality technical content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, product datasheets, demo videos) that educates customers on our products' technical aspects and security benefits.Drive business success by working with key counterparts from Product Management, Corporate Marketing, Sales, Channel Marketing, AR / PR, etc., to exceed our quarterly and yearly revenue goals.Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, showcasing our products and thought leadership in the DevSecOps and cybersecurity space.Your background : 4-6 years of technical product marketing experience with a software security vendor, including mastery of security and compliance markets.Additional consideration for candidates with direct security analyst experience enhancing your technical product marketing capabilities.Working knowledge and experience in DevSecOps or security technologies (e.g., CI / CD, container security, infrastructure as code, vulnerability management, Network Detection and Response, Zero-Trust).Worked with products supporting security frameworks and industry standards (e.g., CIS, DISA, NIST, OWASP, CIS).Working knowledge of cloud security, network protocols and security, event logs, etc., and understanding of the principle of vulnerabilities and exploits, threat actor TTPs, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.Understanding the people, processes and procedures across development, operations, security and compliance.Understanding of the enterprise IT landscape (technologies, vendors, architectures, compatible and competitive products).Superior product marketing capabilities, including the ability to think strategically and understand market trends, competitive landscapes and customer pain points with exceptional communication skills to create impactful messaging for technical audiences.If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
