Progressive Alternatives continues to explore rehabilitative solutions to assist adults with neurological, orthopedic, cognitive/behavioral impairments achieve realistic goals in a home like environment. Specializing in post hospital Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Orthopedic Trauma, Progressive Alternatives works in close cooperation with families, physicians, case managers and community resources in offering our clients creative, relationship-centered care and a complete range of services following hospital discharge. The Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for all direct client care in relation to programming, personal hygiene, comfort and safety. Additional responsibilities include administering medication, transporting client and maintaining a neat and clean facility. Searching for someone willing to make a difference in each client's rehabilitation.
High school GED, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Ability and willingness to learn new skills, Ability to lift, maneuver, and carry up to 50 lbs, Must have a valid Drivers License, Must have reliable transportation to work, Acceptable driving record, Knowledgeable of HIPPA privacy rules, Must be at least18 years old, Open Availability is preferred but not required, Must be able to use transfer lifts and other medical equipment
