Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of warehousing equipment, operations, and software, and be capable of managing the facility and its operations autonomously. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure efficient, safe, and productive warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities·

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure the efficient and safe use of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
• Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) and transportation management software (TMS) to streamline operations and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, equipment, and software (ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse duties as needed.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing warehouse operations and teams successfully.
