Janitor

JANITOR / CLEANER

This post is for a fill in janitor / cleaner to cover accounts when the dedicated person calls in. May be given short notice and hours are not guaranteed. Could convert to a regular position as we grow and new accounts come on board.

Open Contracts

#1 - 3 sites 1-2 hours per site (days), 1 cleaning per site per week. (West Milwaukee County)

#2 - 1 site - 2 house per clean - 1 clean per week (New Berlin)

Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or repairing minor damages
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience as a janitor or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to operate floor care machines, such as buffers or carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
