We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Top Finisher to join our esteemed gunite or shotcrete crew. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of prior experience working as a top finisher, specializing in the precise and detailed finishing of various elements in construction projects. As a Top Finisher, you will play a crucial role in shaping and refining the top surfaces of our projects with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Cut and shape the top of beams and walls to precise specifications, ensuring alignment and smoothness.
- Skillfully cut and shape steps and benches to enhance functionality and aesthetics, meeting project requirements.
- Cut, shape, and shoot spas, utilizing expertise to achieve desired contours and finishes.
- Work collaboratively with the crew to cut and shape walls from beam to floor, maintaining consistency and quality throughout.
- Execute the cutting and finishing of floors with precision and accuracy, meeting project standards.
- Assist with the needs of the crew as required, including but not limited to material handling, equipment setup, and cleanup.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the crew.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a top finisher on a gunite or shotcrete crew.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Austin, TX .
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment specific to top finishing tasks, including saws, grinders, and finishing tools.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques related to top finishing, including cutting, shaping, and finishing surfaces.
- Ability to interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
