Estimate proficiently during all phases of design:
Initial conceptual estimates for budgeting purposes.
Schematic and design development estimates with detailed breakdowns.
Construction document and bidding estimates.
Collaborate in early involvement in proposals and contract negotiations to establish scope of work, schedule, and budget.
Serve the client’s best interest and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
Help keep building projects within the client’s budget limitations through accurate and timely estimating information provided to our design teams.
Assist with estimating for design projects. Provide estimating information and expertise to assist design teams to design to our clients’ budgets.
Contribute to preconstruction services, including identifying contractors and subcontractors and providing bidding services.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in an Estimator or Construction Estimator role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, and Excel.
Proficient in Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management or Construction Management, or equivalent.
OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Certification.
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Associate Estimator Professional (AEP).
