We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader (DL) who will be integral in advancing the discipline and its contributions to the overall success of the firm.  In this influential role, you are responsible for developing talent, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of mentorship within the engineering team. Your expertise will guide the adoption of advanced technologies and best practices, ensuring the continuation of our industry-leading mechanical engineering services, which include HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.   The DL is a leadership role, not production, with significant breadth. Support Business Development: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support business development efforts and expand client relationships.   Delivering Results   Teach, coach, and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and ensuring high technical performance. Set the stage for early design options and input through your high-level engineering proficiency, leading integration practices with our full-service team of architects, designers, and engineers. Collaborate closely with Practice Leaders and clients to gain insight into project objectives, delivering exceptional and tailored solutions. Drive and implement robust quality control processes to ensure every deliverable is technically accurate and efficient. Investigate and integrate emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our design approaches and maintain our competitive edge.   Qualifications   A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree a plus. An active Professional Engineering (P.E.) license. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, specifically within the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) industry.
