As a Senior Interior Designer, you are a highly experienced interior designer responsible for managing multiple projects ranging from small to large sized projects of basic to complex scope with minimal supervision/maximum autonomy (including large systems furniture projects and full architectural solutions in coordination with an architect). You are responsible for the highest level of Interior Design outcomes, completing projects through peer relationships, interpersonal savvy, building effective teams, and customer focus with accuracy and creativity while monitoring project performance within contract hours and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.You grow business and mentor other Interior Designers by through organizing, presentations and planning for the various phases of projects, recognized through your drive for results.

Consistently and effectively lead the most complex projects with accuracy while monitoring project performance within contract hours and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Develop innovative design solutions which are conducive to intended purposes and function which is reflective of client goals and within project budget.
Lead the direction of the overall project process including development of work plans and proposals.
Provide exceptional interior design work for clients – producing superior senior level output and outcomes.
Assist in new business development efforts by professionally and expertly representing the capabilities of the interior design group to prospective clients in interview teams.
Actively seek to grow current client relationships by identifying additional projects/business needs Progressive AE may engage in, including client management.
Demonstrate advanced consultative skills and consistently enhance credibility with clients by being an insightful problem solver and a key resource for achieving their business objectives.
Demonstrate advanced skills at building value by tactfully opening clients’ perspectives to unseen risks, missed opportunities, and/or alternative creative ideas and concepts.
Develop pre-design & programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and coordinate project design assignments, as well as develop design documentation.
Provide mentoring regarding the selection and research of project design materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
Apply advanced understanding of codes and construction regulations and respond appropriately to code implications during all phases of project work.
Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent in education and experience required for professional certification.
NCIDQ certified interior designer (or commitment to acquire within 24 months of hire date).
IIDA or ASID membership preferred.
LEED certification preferred.
CSI-CDT preferred (or willingness to complete within 12 months of hire date.)
10 years of post-graduate interior design experience.
Proven ability to lead multiple and complex projects, as well as designing projects of a routine nature.
Advanced knowledge of the interior design and documentation process, including a high level of creative talent in conceptual design and rendering skills of either hand sketching or computer modeling, as evidenced through an outstanding portfolio of past work.
