Job Description:
BDR Sales Representative Job Responsibilities – Progressive Computing Inc.
As a Sales Representative at Progressive Computing Inc., you will play a vital role in driving new business opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) services. Your primary focus will be on lead generation, client acquisition, and supporting the sales process to help expand our presence in the small to medium-sized business market across the Tri-State area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, research, and reach out to potential clients using a mix of cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking strategies.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain organized CRM pipeline, tracking interactions and logging all activity.
- Prospect Engagement: Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand client needs and challenges.
- Product & Service Knowledge: Understand Progressive Computing’s services to communicate value propositions.
· Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, technical staff, and leadership for smooth client handoff.
· Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets for lead generation, discovery meetings, and closed deals.
· Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and MSP sales best practices, networking & trade show events.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
- Familiarity with Glasshive and basic sales methodologies is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales or in a technology-related field is advantageous but not required.
Qualifications:
- College degree, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in the technology industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals and targets.
