Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate medical documentation.
- Perform dental imaging and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist in managing patient comfort.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix Ascend is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
