At Progressive Eyecare, we need an outgoing and helpful person to join our South Jordan, UT office as a full-time Optometric Technician. This position is perfect for students looking to gain valuable experience or medical assistants who want to break into a new area of healthcare! You get to work closely with our doctors, develop your clinical knowledge, and help others.
We offer a base pay plus incentives! If you want base pay only, you start at $16.00/hour. With incentives, it could be closer to $20.00 - $24.00/hour. As for benefits and perks, we offer:

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent
- English fluency
- Computer proficiency and typing skills
- Ability to work on your feet throughout your shift
Eye care or medical assisting experience would be preferred, but we will train the right person. Being bilingual would be a bonus! Are you highly organized and detail-oriented? A DAY IN THE LIFE
We offer full-time schedules and will accommodate student schedules! Working hours are from Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Schedule preference is given to candidates who can work every Saturday.
In this role, you assist our optometrist and ensure smooth operations within our office. You warmly greet patients, document their medical history, and make notes about their treatment plans. Attentively, you perform preliminary eye tests and assist our doctor with more specialized exams. You're friendly and kind to every patient, helping build their trust in us and ensuring they receive the best care possible.
