Duties:
- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, grating cheese, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and discounts is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
