CARRIER SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Position Details

Salary

40,000 per year, with opportunities for commissions and bonuses based on performance.

Location

This is a full-time, in-office position. Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

Negotiate rates and make deals with carriers to move freight.

Maintain strong relationships with carriers while providing excellent customer service.

Vet carriers and negotiate rates that benefit both carriers and the company.

Track freight from pick-up to delivery, ensuring efficient load movement.

Schedule appointments and communicate with carriers to plan future loads.

Maintain and update carrier and customer information in our transportation management system (TMS).

Strive to meet sales goals daily to contribute to the company's growth.

Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a positive attitude.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a high school diploma is the minimum requirement.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Team player with a focus on achieving company goals.

Willingness to be available after hours and on weekends, if necessary.
