About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our clinical team as a Rehabilitation Technician. In this role, you will contribute to a safe and motivating environment for our clients and therapists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries and/or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disease.
- Monitor patients and support therapists with treatment needs, ensuring a convenient and safe environment while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with front office tasks, including greeting patients, answering phones, supporting registration, data entry, filing, and patient record upkeep.
- Safeguard and escort patients from one location to another, if needed.
- Clean and organize treatment areas and equipment, preparing patients, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies, such as fitness equipment and linens.
- May perform laundry duties and inventory supplies and equipment.
Working Conditions
- You will be required to stand, walk, and sit throughout your assigned shift.
- You will need to lift, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- You must have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
- You will work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision.
- You must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- You will use strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications.
