What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Progressive Healthcare Providers - Fern Park LLC?
The Dietary Aide at Fern Park Developmental Center provides assistance in all food service functions to ensure all our resident dietary needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform a variety of tasks requiring cooking skills.
- Assists in the preparation, service, and clean-up for meals served to our residents.
- Demonstrates proper storage, handling, and preparation of food.
- Perform dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties.
- Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
- Assist in proper care, use, and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Work well with others in a team environment
- One (1) year experience in a health care facility or restaurant.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must be willing to pass a Level 2 background and drug screening
- Able to work weekends/holidays
FPDC is an intermediate care facility for the developmentally disabled. We care for individuals 24/7 in a set of four (4) homes that hold up to 16 individuals.
