Quality Assurance Test Lead - Level20

In this position, you will work collaboratively with our architects and developers to further advance software quality assurance and testing as well as oversee the day-to-day responsibilities for your peer testers (e.g. reviewing test plans, test cases, and scripts). You’ll analyze the testing needs of a system, and the risks posed by the possible defects in that new system, as well as evaluate the likelihood of such a defect. You’ll also collaborate with the system test engineers on automation approaches, tools, and processes. This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office Location: 800 W St Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday). Must-have qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or other related field of study and a minimum of six years of work experience analyzing, testing and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing. Experience must include planning, analyzing and executing testing of multiple applications with significant size, scope and complexity (e.g., Sales, Servicing, Billing Applications). - In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years of related work experience analyzing, testing and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing, may be accepted. Preferred skills - Experience establishing and leading an overall test strategy for complex projects and/or teams. - Experience in leading large complex testing efforts for Web and Mobile Applications including Web Services and APIs and understanding technologies that support them. - Extensive knowledge and application of software QA industry practices, techniques, and tools (e.g. manual testing/black box testing, white box testing, risk-based testing, ability to read code, and automation testing practices) - Experience in generating test data for metrics and reporting. - Experience collaborating with vendors.
