ABOUT THE POSITION
As Progressive’s Client Services Associate, you will partner with our Client Services Manager to maintain a strong link between our clients, Advisors, and Investment Management team. This position receives service requests from clients, documents those requests, completes specific tasks, and keeps clients informed and supported throughout the process. Key service functions include money movements and asset transfers, charitable contributions and grants, and maintenance of account information. To thrive in this position, you’ll rely on your skills of proactive communication, attention to detail, follow-through, and accurate, clearly written documentation. In our experience, fulfillment in this role comes from satisfaction in completing recurring tasks, a desire to understand the why behind the work, and comfort with adapting to evolving systems and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role will include:
- Serve as a friendly, professional, and reliable point of contact for clients, promptly responding to inquiries, ensuring thorough and clear communication at every step, and managing requests in Salesforce to maintain seamless support.
- Facilitate client transactions, money movements, charitable contributions, and account maintenance with our custodian, Charles Schwab, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support information gathering from Advisors and Investment Team as assigned by Client Services Manager.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation to fulfill internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide thoughtful administrative support across the office, by preparing, digitizing, and updating documents, ensuring client-facing information is accurate, and maintaining availability of office supplies and resources.
- Collaborate proactively with colleagues on a range of tasks, including supporting more complex client requests, timely production of client reports, and contributing to continuous improvements in team workflows and processes.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Associates degree or some college coursework
- At least 2 years in client service or customer-facing roles within financial services, lending, legal, or another regulated industry
- Demonstrated ability to process financial transactions consistently with accuracy and timeliness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating vlookups, filters, pivot tables, and formulas
- Experience working with CRM software to accurately maintain contact records and coordinate team workflows
- Comfortable using Adobe Acrobat for digitizing, highlighting, and annotating client documents
- Skilled with Microsoft Word to update and maintain clear, professional documents
- Commitment to upholding rigorous standards of ethics, privacy, and quality in all interactions
- Strong personal initiative and work ethic, with a reliable ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy and high-quality work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that facilitate your warm professional engagement with clients and colleagues
- Collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional client experiences

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Starting salary range is $65,000 depending on experience
Progressive’s compensation and benefits package includes:

This role is based in our Lake Oswego, OR office. Hybrid-remote schedule is available with prior approval.
