As a Program specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting in the development and implementation of program plans, goals, and objectives
What You’ll Do (core Responsibilities)
- Coordinate implementation and roll out of program materials and resources, including program manuals, participant guides, and training materials
- Coordinate and support program activities, including recruitment, training sessions, workshops, and meetings
- Provide technical assistance and support to program participants, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Coordinate program evaluations and assessments to ensure program effectiveness
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for program improvement and implement changes as needed
- Maintain program data and records, including participant information, program expenses, and program outcomes
- Support program reporting and communication efforts, including drafting reports, summaries, and program updates
- Cultivate participant engagement, communication and inclusive environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, social work, psychology, etc.) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in a development center or similar environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Cultural intelligence and ability to build rapport with communities across differences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online whiteboards, project management software
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have access to reliable internet and computer equipment
- 40 Hours that are generally Monday through Friday between 9:00-8:00pm; Occasional Saturdays 10am-3pm (typically 4 days in office,1 day remote)
- This may need to be adjusted to accommodate the needs of the mission of the PROG Development Center
- Prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Engagement in West Valley City, Utah
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
