What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Lighting Consultant position at Progressive Lighting?
The principle responsibility of an inside sales associate is to generate sales while maintaining outstanding customer service as a representative of Progressive Lighting to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and acknowledge every customer in a timely matter, always aware of waiting customers
- Maintain a strong product knowledge
- Appear and dress professionally following company dress code guideline in the employee handbook
- Awareness and participation in all company programs including sales promotions and initiatives
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics codes as outlined in the employee handbook
- Assist the store manager in merchandising, display maintenance, housekeeping, and tagging of product
- Strong follow up and detail on all orders including contacting customers when product arrives, returning phone calls, scheduling shipments, etc.
- Closing the sale
- Dependable and prompt
- Follow store manager instructions and guidelines. Assist the store manager on special projects and requests. Sales staff reports directly to the store manager
- Maintain all files, records, and reports in accordance to company standards and expectations
- Good organization and clean work station
- Sales goals met monthly, push add on items
- Always on the sales floor during peak times
