The Electric Project Manager will be supporting the Electric Distribution, Substation, Transmission non-major projects team responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing electrical infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within a budget of under 25 million dollars. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Electric Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and support staff, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with safety standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and the public, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
