ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER PLUMBING (Permanent)
Our client an established local contracting company in WNY is looking to hire an Assistant Service Manager to join their team in the Plumbing department. This role is open due to growth and has tremendous opportunity for professional development.
Responsibilities :
- Perform general daytoday responsibilities supporting the Service Manager in the Plumbing department ensuring seamless operations
- Work closely with customers to coordinate service calls and obtain critical information which will aid in high quality performance / solutions
- Ensure Technicians are regularly updated regarding appointment schedules services required and products necessary to complete each job
- Manage inventory / material levels to ensure appropriate stock levels at all times; order materials when needed
- Update and maintain computer systems regarding customer / project details
- Assist in estimations and billings for each job
- Clearly communicate pricing to customers answering any questions and following up with issues in a timely manner
- Ensure emergency service projects are prioritized and finished as soon as possible
- Followup with customers after jobs have been completed to ensure satisfaction
- Effectively communicate satisfaction levels to upper management and service technicians in order to drive a customer servicedriven environment and determine areas for improvement
- Work on several special projects at a given time maneuvering from one to another with ease
- Other duties as assigned / as necessary
