INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE PROGRAM MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client, an established international manufacturing organization located outside of Toledo, OH, is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Program Manager to join their team. This position reports directly to the Senior EHS Manager. The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of occupational safety in a metals manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assess current industrial hygiene programs to pinpoint areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Corporate EHS team to develop and implement industrial hygiene and safety initiatives to reduce risks and protect workers’ health, safety, and the environment
- Guarantee Operations Leaders have a thorough understanding of safety programs to ensure proper implementation
- Create long-term improvement plans with site-specific strategies for exposure assessment and mitigation
- Ensure the facility is operating in compliance with all Health & Safety standards including, but not limited to, indoor air quality, noise exposure, and ventilation controls
- Monitor ventilation and air pollution control devices, maintaining a current understanding of device operations
- Create and present detailed reports on program-specific findings to senior leadership, remaining fully transparent regarding all Industrial Hygiene initiatives and outcomes
- Monitor EHS programs for efficiency and determine the overall success of efforts put forth; implement corrective action plans when necessary
- Ensure policies and procedures remain within OSHA requirements as well as corporate guidelines
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned / as necessary
Details :
shift, 45-50 hours / week
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
