At Progressive Technology, we are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler Coordinator to join our team in Springfield, VA. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our digital content management solutions, content digitization, and library services.
About the Role
The Master Scheduler Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple projects. This will involve working closely with technical team leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify contractual milestones and interdependencies. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex schedules and develop effective solutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain summary-level schedule reports, milestone charts, and other program management tools to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks, priority-based resource allocations, and performance variances.
- Prepare project and program status reports based on current and forecast schedules, and implement and maintain schedule change control.
- Conduct and facilitate weekly IMS reviews with the program team, managing schedules, reviewing project status, and assessing project issues to develop resolutions.
- Actively monitor project progress, focusing on problem-solving and efficiency in project execution and accuracy in project reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- IMS creation and scheduling experience, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and schedules.
- Excellent problem-resolution skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex schedules for multiple projects, with the ability to effectively convey requirements, concerns, and capabilities to all levels of management.
