Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Program Administrator with at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client services, program coordination, and compliance within a Developmental Training (Community Day Service) Program or a Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) setting. The program has sites in the Chicago neighborhood of Mount Greenwood and Hazel Crest, IL where the candidate will split time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain organized record-keeping systems for client intake and case management.
- Serve as a liaison between ISC agencies, case coordination units, and referral sources.
- Support clients in daily living, work, or social activities as part of their individualized service plans, education plans, or behavior programs.
- Collect and analyze behavioral program data through direct interactions and observations of clients.
- Recruit and acquire new clients for the program
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Manage the day-to-day operations of programs focused on individuals with developmental disabilities
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including conferences, workshops, and seminars, to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nursing or related fields (other credentials may be considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Preferred Certification: QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) license is preferred but not required.
- Additional Consideration: Experience in a Developmental Training (Community Day Service) Program or CILA home is preferred.
Experience:
· Proven experience in program management, particularly within the behavioral health sector or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Supervisory experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities in guiding teams towards achieving program objectives.
· Comfortable with computers in order to electronically document client outcomes
