What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Claims Adjuster - Special Lines position at Progressive?
As a senior multiline representative on our claims team, you'll be responsible for investigating and resolving complex specialty lines losses within a territory. Day-to-day duties will involve investigating and analyzing the extent of our liability for property or injury losses, coverage analysis and interpretation. Additionally, you'll collaborate and negotiate with repair service providers to effectively and efficiently settle claims for our customers.
You'll will write estimates and manage repairs for boats, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and other specialty vehicles. The role also entails field work for automobiles in the winter months.
Location: Open to qualified candidates in Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding area.
Territory covered: Salt Lake City, UT area
Must-have qualifications
- A minimum of five years relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
- {OR} Associate's degree and a minimum of four years relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance along with compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policies
Compensation
- $74,205 - $96,030/yearly
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
