As a nurse practitioner in Health Services, an accredited, employer-based clinic, you’ll be an integral member of our Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team. In this role, you’ll provide primary care to Progressive employees and adult dependents. Your core responsibilities will include the breadth of adult primary care medicine, including preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and urgent care. Additionally, you’ll participate in educational talks and well-being programs to support the larger Progressive community. You may also be asked to participate in core committees that help maintain our Patient Centered Medical Home approach.
This position will require you to report into our Mayfield Heights, Ohio office location.

Must-have qualifications
- Successful completion of Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice plus a minimum five years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, including safe prescribing practices
- Certificate of authority to prescribe based on applicable state regulations and licensure
- Current unrestricted nursing license in the state of practice
- Certificate of Authority or Advanced Practice Registry as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
- Board Certification in area of specialty from one or more of the following: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners (NAPNAP)
- Current unrestricted DEA license
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Demonstrated good standing with no significant complaints, convictions or a criminal offense or adverse action reports filed with a local, state, or national professional society, licensure board, or the National Practitioner Data Bank
Preferred skills
- Clinical practice experience in internal medicine or family practice as a primary care provider (managing your own panel of patients)
- Evidence of excellent customer satisfaction scores and a patients-first approach to care
- Ability to manage complex patients with multiple medical conditions including type 2 diabetes
- Proven experience with basic primary care procedures such as pap smears and comfortable prescribing contraception and controlled substances if clinically indicated
- Ability to coordinate care, facilitate appropriate referrals and testing, and practice cost-effective care
Compensation
- $95,800 - $127,700/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
