What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Planner position at Progressive?
The Service Planner's primary duty is to act as customer representative receiving and processing new customer gas and electric service requests from initiation to completion. In execution of these duties, a Service Planner must:
- Meet and uphold the requirements of client's established standards as well as all applicable state and federal requirements.
- Liaise with new customers and businesses to establish new service connection for gas and electric consumption, calculating load requirements in line with customer requests.
- Write, amend, and execute electric & gas new customer service order documents on SAP from cradle to grave of each project.
- Coordinate permits for the construction process regarding new customer electric & gas connections.
