If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as an Ergonomics Specialist supporting a large manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL.
What You'll Do:
- Lead engaging Ergonomics Education/Training sessions to educate employees on proper ergonomics, lifting techniques, and body mechanics.
- Lead Ergonomic Training sessions to educate employees on Ergonomic systems and tools.
- Conduct thorough ergonomic risk assessments to recommend effective solutions tailored to site operations and job demands.
- Drive ergonomic improvement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with ergonomic problem solving, integrating ergonomic insights into planning and decision-making, and assisting with process review and assessment.
What You’ll Need:
- A background in occupational ergonomics, human factors, safety & environmental, Athletic training kinesiology, exercise science / sports science, ergonomic certification (CPE, CHFP, CAE, etc.), health promotions, etc.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills including excel, Powerpoint and Ergonomic computer programs
- A genuine passion for enhancing workplace wellness, productivity, and impacting team member's wellbeing.
- Detail oriented for data tracking, reporting and trend analysis.
