What You'll Do:
- Administer and manage ergonomic education and training workshops, including curriculum development focused on proper ergonomics, lifting techniques, and body mechanics.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands to make data-driven recommendations.
- Provide regular monthly and quarterly reports to the client regarding program management and activities.
- Participate in meetings related to model and/or production changes.
- Engage with production, design, and engineering teams to ensure ergonomic considerations in planning.
- Assist Ergonomics Specialists with tasks as needed.
- Support client report-outs and performance audits to improve ergonomic procedures and techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- A background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Occupational Ergonomics, Human Factors, Safety & Environmental fields, or related disciplines.
- Alternatively, experience in manufacturing processes and equipment with hands-on roles such as production team member, supervisor, process technician, or quality control specialist.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and related programs.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- The role requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
- The ability to communicate audibly to a large group.
- Occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
- The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
