Referral Liaison – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Evansville, IN/Newburgh, IN
We are looking for a Referral Liaison to join our team! This person will be responsible for identifying and contacting new patient referrals and scheduling initial appointments for various clients and locations. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity. What will you be doing in this role?
- Processing and distributing incoming appointment referrals
- Coordinating with patient to schedule initial appointment within 48 hours of receiving referral
- Will be documenting all contact attempt and any lost referrals
- Follow protocol to make the minimum number of contact attempts for referrals not yet scheduled
- Entering scheduled appointments in patient electronic medical records (EMR) and attaching the referral for the Patient Experience Specialist to review
- Answering telephone and returning voicemails in a timely and professional manner
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Our ideal candidate would:
- Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Have at least 1 year of related experience or training is preferred
- Have previous experience in a customer service or clerical role
- Display a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrate strong detail orientation with the ability to adapt to change
- Demonstrate strong follow-up and follow-through skills
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
