Progyny is seeking a current law student to support the Legal Team in our summer internship program. The team is looking for a Law student interested in women’s health, healthcare, and working in-house to learn and collaborate with legal team. This person would learn about a variety of contracts and take part in the drafting and review of contracts, and develop healthcare and legal expertise with others, including being involved in developing best practices, playbooks, and templates.
Progyny’s internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to gain valuable corporate work experience while contributing to meaningful projects that benefit the company. The internship program runs year-round based on the needs of each department, with a dedicated summer program that begins in June. Summer interns will be required to present to senior leadership on project(s) that they have completed during their time with Progyny.
The internship program will align the intern to a specific business leader to execute on a specific project plan. This is a paid internship with a hybrid schedule, requiring interns to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote positions may also be available.

What You'll Do...
- Learn and collaborate with Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit on risk management and process improvements and adherence to legal requirements
- Lear about working in a legal department in a corporation.
- Learn about variety of different types of legal work in an in-house environment, including contracting, compliance, and privacy.
- Work with a dedicated team to learn more about women’s health and healthcare.
- Present to executive team on projects and work done over the summer.
- Learn and contribute to various legal and compliance team.
- Currently Law School Student
- Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables.
- Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives.
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver.
- Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross functional resources and teams.
- Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others.
