Progyny is seeking a Market Intelligence intern for the summer of 2025. The Market Intelligence team at Progyny plays a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing competitive information, industry trends, and market insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. By staying ahead of the curve, the Market Intelligence team enables Progyny to adapt and excel in a dynamic and always-evolving fertility, family building and women’s health benefits landscape. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn about the role of Market Intelligence in a rapidly growing, competitive field and how that role can support the work of Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Product, the C-Suite, and other internal teams.

What You’ll Do…
- Monitor and analyze competitors' websites, LinkedIn pages, Glassdoor reviews, Reddit threads, and other public sources daily to gather and report valuable intelligence.
- Support the development of research initiatives aimed at understanding Progyny member and customer perspectives, leveraging data to identify key trends and areas of opportunity.
- Facilitate the creation of competitive profiles by synthesizing information on competitors' products, services, pricing models, and client relationships.
- Gather and review benefits guides, whitepapers, or reports that provide insights into competitors’ offerings, strategies, and market positioning.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and trackers to monitor ongoing market intelligence efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share findings and create presentations or summaries that support strategic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Market Intelligence function and support organizational goals.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
- Possess strong research skills, with experience analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and actionable insights.
- A natural problem solver with the ability to “read between the lines” and make connections across various data sources to uncover key themes and implications.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare, with a curiosity about industry trends and competitive dynamics.
- Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and written/verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, seeks opportunities to learn, and works well both independently and in team settings.
- Highly organized and methodical, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
