Duties
- Assessing and treating various types of wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans
- Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress
- Educating patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilizing electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
Skills
- Proficiency in utilizing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for wound care procedures
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic
- Familiarity with family planning services and patient care systems
- Ability to provide specialized care in memory care settings
- Competency in performing accurate wound assessments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
