About the Role:
As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures that assist in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your expertise will ensure that high-quality images are produced while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will be responsible for preparing patients for MRI scans, explaining the procedure, and addressing any concerns they may have. Additionally, you will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret the images and provide accurate reports. Ultimately, your work will contribute significantly to patient care and outcomes in our facilities located in Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, and Torrance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical MRI setting.
- Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques or modalities.
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record system.
