About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled PACS Administrator to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. As a PACS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure the efficient and effective storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure that our PACS system meets their needs and that patient data is kept secure and confidential. Your expertise in PACS administration will be critical to the success of our healthcare organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in PACS administration.
- Experience with PACS systems such as GE Centricity, McKesson, or Philips iSite.
- Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with PACS systems in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with storage technologies such as SAN or NAS.
- Certification in PACS administration.
Responsibilities:
