About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled X-ray Technologist to join our team at Prohealth Advanced Imaging. As an X-ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and technical expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid state license to practice as an X-ray Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques, such as CT or MRI
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment
- Analyzing images and providing accurate and timely results to physicians and other healthcare professionals
