Schedule Details: Start time is flexible after training is complete. 1st shift for training - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
What You Will Do:
As a member of the healthcare team, coding professionals support the importance of accurate, complete and consistent coding practices for the production of quality healthcare data. The goal is to strive for optimal reimbursement.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an AAPC or AHIMA approved coding program. Will consider experience and education in lieu of a degree.
- Previous outpatient coding experience preferred.
- One of more of the following certifications:
- Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT)
- Registered Health Information Admin (RHIA)
