Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Food Services Team Member to prepare meals according to standardized recipes, assist with special functions, and ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is vital in creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Meal Preparation: Cook meals according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines. Serve food in the dining room with attention to detail and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Plan the utilization of leftovers, monitor inventory levels, and minimize waste. Store perishable foods properly.
- Supervision: Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Ensure safe food handling practices.
- Staff Coordination: Fill in for other cooks or the Food Services Supervisor as needed.
- Resident Support: Understand and support the Resident Bill of Rights. Maintain confidentiality for residents and staff.
- Compliance: Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Attend and participate in committee meetings as required.
