Job Description Summary:
The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting activities related to monthly financial statement preparation, accounts payable processing, tax compliance, and payroll. The Director will be primarily responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, and profit and loss reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations of ProHealth Group companies including responsibility for general accounting (including month-end closes), accounts payable, and financial reporting.
- Assist CFO in cash management functions including bank, ACH, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage and provide ongoing training to accounting personnel
- Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generates reports to be submitted to the senior management team
- Creating and coordinating preparation of financial statements, reports, and information reports (trend analysis, KPI’s etc.) on a schedule and as requested by upper management.
- Establishes budgets in accordance with the requirements of the company divisions and departments.
- Oversee audit and internal control operations
- Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations and other corporate policies
- Coordinates with outside audit firms under direction of CFO
- Assists with Cost Report preparation for Home Health and Hospice companies
- Responsible for management of Group Health Self Insurance Trust Fund
- Assistance with other financial related projects as assigned
Experience, Qualification and Education Requirements:
Experience: Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience including managerial experience
Education: CPA preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional time management and organization skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, sit, stoop and stand intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to work with hands and fingers throughout the workday.
