Medical Equipment Delivery Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that medical equipment is delivered, set up, and maintained properly for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and equipment handling, with a focus on providing excellent service to healthcare providers and patients.

Duties

• Deliver medical equipment to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
• Set up and test equipment at the delivery site to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, deliveries, and service history.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions.
• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to load and unload deliveries efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical equipment handling.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics management is advantageous.
• Skills in route driving and courier services will be beneficial for efficient deliveries.
• Background in moving or transporting heavy items safely is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical equipment handling is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
