Seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a well established Cardiology Practice with experience in hands-on patient care. Applicant must possess all appropriate licensure and certification requirements with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide total patient care under the supervision of a physician
- Perform physical examinations and document preventative health measures
- Manage patient treatment plan
- Facilitate referrals, consultations, therapeutic services, etc.
- Document patient chart and other documents as appropriate
- Orders and interprets diagnostic test relative to patient’s age-specific needs
Qualifications/Certification:
- Cardiology experience is a plus
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant Program
- DEA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
- At least 2 years of experience in related field
