Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory management
- Train and mentor kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with the management team to create menus and specials
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding food quality and service
Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchen management within a casual dining environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Proficient in shift management and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training kitchen personnel
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager is a plus
