What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Server position at PROHIBITION?
Our servers have strong knowledge of our food & beverage offerings. With this knowledge you are able to inquire of customers preferences, and make recommendations on standard menu offerings, as well as enhanced options such as additions to, or upgrades to items. Servers are responsible for ensuring correct orders are sent to kitchen and bar, items are delivered correctly and expeditiously and tables are pre-bussed. Strong perception of verbal or non verbal table touches, performing non-intrusive table visits, at times seen, but not heard. Our skilled servers understand when our patrons want attention, or to be left in their own company.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Upsell menu items and promote specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Clear tables and clean dining area as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other servers and restaurant staff to provide a seamless dining experience
YOUR SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of liquors.
- Ability to determine and satisfy your customers wants.
- Knowledge of Utah laws and DABS regulations.
- Familiar with wine presentation.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong and positive customer service and social skills.
- Problem solver & multitasker.
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 21 Only
- 3 years experience serving a fine dining environment.
- 5 years total serving experience.
- Provide exceptional fine-dining service.
- Effectively communicate with kitchen staff regarding customer allergies, dietary needs and other special requests.
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant in all areas.
- Prefer sommelier 1 or above
