SUMMARY:
To support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with development and analysis of programmatic data for program management support, to include monitoring and reporting against the acquisition program baselines, to include assistance with program oversight and execution briefings. Alternative responsibilities may encompass development and execution of acquisition strategies/plans, contract requirements packages, and supporting prime contract monitoring/management activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting the initiation, formation, management and administration of acquisition teams
- Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and supporting the development of sources sought RFI's
- Assisting in acquisition strategies and preparing materials for Acquisition Strategy Board/Panel reviews and approvals
- Preparing acquisition plans, justifications, determinations and source selection plans
- Building contract requirements packages including statements of work, contract data requirements lists, specifications, fee plans, and other acquisition documents
- Reviewing requests for proposals and supporting preparation for OSD Peer Reviews
- Conducting technical evaluations of proposals
- Preparing acquisition announcements, public releases and Congressional notifications
- Supporting contract administration activities such as change orders, task orders, property documentation and modifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The below are required to perform effectively as an Acquisition and Program Management Analyst
- BA/BS in related field with 10 years relevant experience; MA/MS, PMP or DAWIA Level III certification may substitute for 3 years of experience
- 15 years of experience with a background in sensors supporting a Space Program, Aircraft/tactical Systems, and/or Airforce/Space Force.
- 10 years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition or DoD program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance
- 5 years in a DoD program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive level review.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES (DESIRED):
- Experience supporting a Space Program, Aircraft/tactical Systems, and/or Airforce/Space Force background is a plus

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
