Host / Hostess at Dock 17
We are looking for Hosts to work with us. Dock 17 is an upscale casual restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere. We treat our employees like family. Expectations:
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests by greeting them as soon as they arrive at the restaurant..
- Become a menu expert - Answer questions, provide suggestions, etc.
- Assist the servers with bussing the tables.
- Take reservations and be able to manage walk-in guests
Preferred Skill Sets:
- Minimum age 18 years or older
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff
- Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant is required
Job Type: Part-time
Shifts: Afternoon, Evenings, Nights
Requirement: Availability to work Weekends and Holidays, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Salary: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Physical setting: Casual dining restaurant
