We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of culinary delights; tasks include peeling, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
- Ensure food and supply inventories are stocked and properly stored.
- Follow kitchen safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to contribute to menu development and execution.
- Actively participate in training and workshops to hone your skills and techniques.
Requirements:
- No formal education is required; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous kitchen experience is required.
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and a desire to pursue a career in the food service industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Availability to work during peak hours, on weekends, and on holidays required.
