Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef located in Charlotte, NC. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, developing recipes, managing food inventory, and supervising kitchen staff. Additionally, the Head Chef will ensure high-quality food production for events up to 350 people as well as in-house culinary needs and adhere to health and safety regulations, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills, Menu Development, and Recipe Creation
- Food Inventory Management and Kitchen Staff Supervision
- Strong catering skills for events with guests from 150-350 people
- Health and Safety Regulations Compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Budget management skills (ability to manage and maintain profit margins)
- Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience
