Position Summary:
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for 1) coordinating the McMinnville campus Wellness programs 2) maximizing attendance at all Wellness activities

- Current training in PSS (Peer Support Specialist) or the ability to get training within three months.

Facilitate activities/events
- Work with Chief Training Officer to identify recovery-related Wellness activities for the monthly calendar
- Maintain a robust well-balanced calendar of groups and activities that are responsive to the types of information the community is interested in.
- Remain current regarding curriculum and keep organized.
- Maintain folders for all activities weekly or monthly and update as needed
- Facilitate all activities offered until a facilitator is found then co-facilitate as needed
- Develop appropriate instructions and provide materials for activities
- Identify and train volunteers or staff to substitute as facilitators as needed
- Identify and implement opportunities that will increase awareness of and attendance at activities
- Submit monthly reports to Chief of Staff

Provide outreach support
- Distribute Project ABLE promotional information and activity calendars throughout the community
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners. Sign them up to our outreach lists and have reasonable
- Attend community meetings representing ABLE with approval from Chief of Staff
- Staff ABLE Tables at events and activities, as assigned

Identify potential community partnerships and work with Chief of Staff to maximize those relationships
- With the approval of and coordination with the Chief of Staff attend community meetings and/or events that will raise awareness of Project ABLE
- Identify speaking engagements, relevant meeting, and potential partnership that will benefit Project ABLE
- Speak at public forums about Project ABLE, as approved by the Chief of Staff
- Connect Chief of Staff or other staff with community partners when appropriate

Provide administrative support
- Answer phones and/or staff the reception desk as needed
- Provide filing, data entry, and light housekeeping as needed
- Work with other Project ABLE staff and volunteers to maintain a clean, welcoming office environment.
